The fact is no tax dollars are being used to build or maintain this entire project. Every single piece of equipment, time, dollars, materials are being donated by businesses that feel this project will help the future of Gresham and it's kids. 100% is being donated WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG? WHY IS PROGRESS SO SLOW? As you can imagine coordinating with all of the donating companies can be hard at times, little things can cost crutial hours each day. Think of it this way: The heavy equipment is being donated by one company The delivery of that heavy equipment is donated by another company The fuel for the equipment is being donated by another company The man power is being donated by various people The lunch for those individuals is being donated by local restaurants Any repairs that need to be done to the equipment is being donated also. Vandels can be an awful setback to our projects. We ask that people think about what this project is all about. There is a love for the community driving this project and hurtful acts cause more trouble than you can ever imagine. Funding. All donated funds go directly toward the project.
